sugee!*

Hmm, it has been more than a month since my last update... Tehe^.^. I think I am past the point of apologizing now. You want an explanation? I honestly couldn't find the time. I have school the entire day and on the weekends it's hard to find time too. So... Now that that's out of the way let's get down to business (for some reason I can't write that without the song from Mulan popping into my head, oh well). So... what happened in a month's time. Well, I am level A2.1 now, sugee* desu ne? Because the second semester ended last week a lot of people are leaving. Due to that fact my class will be the second highest class! I even got a compliment about my Japanese at Starbucks yesterday. Unfortunately, because we're leveling up we won't be able to keep our teacher. That's really sad, because every one loves Ikuko-sensei. I think we'll be getting another teacher that we've had before, though. She is really nice, but I never remember her name. Because she says "suberashii" a lot, we call her "suberashii-sensei". (suberashii means something along the lines of "very good"). Last weekend I went skiing with Maria-chan (I want to call her Maria-sama, but she'd kick my ass if I did that, which is really mean because she calls me Ohimesama (it means princess >.<)). The first day was a lot of fun up until the point were Maria-chan fell and had to be taken to the hospital. Luckily, nothing was broken and this Wednesday she could already run (she hurt her leg). Sugee*! This Thursday, Friday and Saturday I was in Korea (South-Korea...), because I needed to renew my visa for Japan. Those of you who were broke-ass backpackers (*cough* mom and dad *cough*) know that the easiest (and cheapest) way is to go to another country for a couple of days and then come back. I am pretty sure that it's not entirely legal, but hey, who cares.  I am pretty sure that the guy at passport control wasn't buying my story though, but he let me through anyways. Korea was actually quite fun and I did a lot. The hotel was pretty tiny, but clean and kind of nice. The second day an EF ambassador came to pick me up (her name is Eri) and she showed me around. Because EF payed our transport we took a lot of taxis. I mean if they're paying right? Because it was Korean New Year, it was quite crowded everywhere. I went to see a castle, the Namsam tower (don't know if I spelled that right) and Hongdae. I also went sockshopping, because Korea has some pretty awesome socks. I came back home yesterday and was satisfied about the trip. Sugee* ^^.

*sugee means awesome :).
